Zelkova Design – Creative Gardens

Zelkova Design is a garden and landscape design practice, headed by Tom Kemp and Simon Torr. Both have been designing private gardens and public landscapes in the UK, as well as abroad, since the late nineties and also have experience with show gardens at both Chelsea and Hampton Court flower shows.

We design private gardens nationwide, throughout the UK, with projects varying in size and complexity from large country estates through to smaller urban gardens and roof terraces, as well as some public schemes for planners and architects.

We aim to create unique and exciting gardens, responding to the brief and location of every project.

We feel it is important to have a strong architectural framework to each project, whether the setting is in a rural natural environment or a more contained urban context.

Our design-led approach creates contemporary and traditional gardens with strong planting themes and suitable material selection. Other design elements include lighting, structures and sculpture.
