A large, open terrace for dining and entertaining is located directly off the back of the house, surrounded by large planting beds, all year-round interest and multi-stem shrubs for height. A water feature provides a focal point set amongst the planting.
A large office building was integrated, with a small patio off it and an outdoor kitchen area to one side. Two curved stepping stone and gravel paths lead off the main terraces. One winds through generous planting beds to a circular fire pit area with integral seating and lots of Birch trees for a sense of enclosure, as well as privacy from the nearby houses. The other path leads through the lawn to a small natural swimming pond and deck in the corner.
Other features include a greenhouse, raised vegetable and herb beds and a small orchard of newly planted fruit trees.
